2018-12-12
An 18-year-old young man was shot in the shoulder in the left side of the neck during a hand-to-hand clash. After that, he was taken to a hospital in Sana'a where the surgeons performed surgery to remove the bullet. The surgery was performed from the back with opening of the neck to make sure not to damage the arteries feeding the brain. After several months of undergoing the surgery, the patient developed new suffering in the left hand. Then the patient visited the University of Science and Technology Hospital to ensure the safety of the nerves of the hand. The patient was evaluated and examined by the physiotherapist Ahmed Abdelsalam who in turn prepared a treatment plan for a month. One month later, the patient recovered the movement of his left hand completely and simply.
