REMOVING A 8 KG CYST FORM A 60-YEAR WOMAN OVARY

A sixty-year woman presented to General Surgery at UST Hospital complaining of larger swelling in the abdomen causing back pain , loss of appetite , and difficulty of walking. After checking her clinically and undertaking Abdominal CT scan with contrast, the findings showed that she has a large cyst pressing the stomach and bowels. The cyst was in the right ovary and it weighs more than 8 kg. After the surgery, the patient stayed 48 hours in the hospital and was discharged after ensuring that her health was stable.
